Chris Huhnes trial started this morning.He has maintained his innocence throughout and said he would defend the accusations with all his strength.
He got in the dock,bottled it and pleaded guilty as charged,probably to prevent himself being sent to jail when the evidence made it clear he was guilty as sin.Even by Westminster standards he is a horrible,arrogant little shit and I really do hope he spends time behind bars.

I'm unsure how he would have got the chance, TBH. He walked into the court protesting his innocence and walked out a convicted criminal, unfit for public office. Did he phone Nick from the dock?
