The fitter who was out this time Al said that they have trouble getting the genuine omega trims in and when they do come in they get snapped up immediately. The others simply don't fit properly. I'm still wondering how AA windscreens make money from this service though??
Have a look at the price they charge your insurer. They make money alright.

So had to go to MOT centre today for re-test re the airbag light and have noticed no wind noise at all around the re-fitted windscreen so it looks like the second fitting was a success. YAY!!! Either that or the pattern trims that he used the first time were just rubbish and weren't sealing properly, either way seems much better now and I now have a full years MOT as well so happy chappy all round!  :y :y

Come to think of it AA Windscreens was not that a re-badged company that went bust a while ago?  :-\

Last time I had one done, it was Auto windscreens. They did a good job at the time  :)
