Unfortunately entwood some of the shops are run by monkeys and ordering online not always great im lucky as my local one in catford is very good and never got a part wrong  :y

I guess you must be right, no company could exist if all their stores were run as chaotically as the Swindon one.. The order was done by telephone not online, but the next day the muppet there was trying to tell me it "would fit" even while I was showing him the old one and the mounting holes that didn't exist on the new one !!!! The guy who had to authorise the refund was just as bad, trying to give me a credit note.. DOH ... :(

Luck of the draw I'm afraid Entwood.

I have two ECP's, more-or-less equidistant from me in Bristol - One is exceptional and carries stock, the other is about as much use as tits on a fish.

I cannot fault ECP - I bought a 'cheap' Steering Idler from them a couple of years back - A Lemforder Product.  It is always worth asking what they have on the shelf and asking if you can inspect the differences.  A lot of their 'stock' is advertised online as a unknown brand but in fact it tends to be better stuff!
