Did he mug an old lady?

Did he rape someone?

Did he murder someone?

Did he burgle your house?

Foolish, yes. .....but the rozzers spend too much time with this sort of thing and are nowhere to be seen when 'real crime' takes place.  :-\

If the police allowed someone to walk around the centre of your town waving a samurai sword in everyone's face, or firing a pistol randomly at buildings .... I'm sure you'd be the first to complain.

Driving at that  speed is exactly the same .... he is handling a weapon capable of killing .. and handling it (badly) in a public place. The chances of him killing someone were very high that day, and given his attitude, he probably does it often... so "well done" to the police IMHO for tracking down a potential killer.

Why? How do you work that out? I could only see two vehicles in clip .... both bikes  ???  ???  ??? Perhaps they/he should have been doing 160mph while testing their/his vehicle!

Just a prat for broadcasting his intentions

Your usual sense of reason seems to have left you, Mr Entwood. There is absolutely no comparison. ;)

By the looks of the prosecution was aimed more towards perverting the course of justice than the offence itself  8)

Needless to say using up valuable man power and resources over someone getting out of a parking ticket seems a bit extreme :o

Anyone who has been burgled will know that they have to live with the consequences for years after. In fact, some people refuse to return to their homes after such a violation.

This is crime that people can really relate to, although it is often treated as a minor inconvenience by the police. On the other hand 'mere speeding' on an empty open road is not a particularly dangerous pursuit.

Irresponsible speeding, such as in built-up areas, and especially around schools, most certainly is. There is a difference between the two. :y :y :y

The road is near me, its the old A1 (now moved and motorway standard) one of the main runs from Squires bikers cafe, they know the police sit in vans but still get pulled?
perhaps a stupid tax could be applied?

My son was nearly killed by someone doing exactly that on the M4, so IMHO he deserves everything he got, as does anyone else doing such speeds in traffic. >:( >:( >:(
