I always just use a bit of normal grease (well, LM, as thats all I have had)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COPASLIP-COPPER-SLIP-HIGH-TEMP-ANTI-SEIZE-COMPOUND-500G-TIN-FREE-P-P-/181211402856?pt=UK_Vehicle_Oils_Lubricants_Fluids&hash=item2a310a9268  ;) ;)
You misunderstood. I had (propper) copperslip as well, just in this scenario Ithought grease would be better (though I only had LM)

Copaslip is grease with anti seize compunds in it (such as copper particles plus others).

Hence it will work as would normal grease.

The major benfit of Copaslip is that it is good to very high temperatures unlike normal grease and hence its use on braking systems.

Many dont use it on track rod ends due to its increased cost but it will do the job.

Yep I can do that for less than £14.99 for 2½ lits, and you have a choice of 10W-40 or 5W-30, at the same price!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D  Have plenty here - too lazy to go to the tip ;)
