That one is nearing the end of it's life, 393 miles on the clock.

I'm afraid I said goodbye to the days when my car would stall at every junction when I sold my Morris Ital, and I'm not going back!
I thought I had...  ...but then I bought a 3.2 Elite that does that with annoying regularity....
Eh? Only time I've known a 3.2 'stall' is when the crank sensor waves goodbye to this world. Any idea what the issue is?
A grumpy LPG that I can guarantee will stall every morning whilst I slow down for the junction just outside the (ex) Bronnley Soap factory, about 0.75 miles from here.
Ah, maybe you should run it on that petrol stuff for 1/2 a mile more.......  ;D

I believe they called it 'quartic' at the time. ;D ;D ;D ;)

 ......

It was indeed ..... but you'd already Googled it https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=quartic+steering+wheel&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=9JxAUp3VLM6UhQfh5ID4Dw&ved=0CDIQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=959&dpr=1

The VDP version was particularly 'handsome'  ::) ::) ::)

Just been to McDonald's for a burger for the lad, quite a queue there. Behind me was a small VW with start/stop. Every time we inched forward I could hear his engine (a small diesel) splutter i to life, only to stop again about three feet later. It must have done it 7 or 8 times while I was there.
Surely this cannot be good for the battery/starter?

I didn't think they allowed motor cars inside McDonalds..... :)

Wouldn't it have been better to park outside and then walk in?...... ::) ::) :)
It's a new-fangled, American thing Opti, a drive-through. Doubt it will have reached Lincolnshire yet.

You are very wrong there old chap - the McDonalds in Sleaford is one of the most profitable in the whole country I was informed recently  :o

It was the  luxurious HL version of the All-aggro that made the girls  all wet and needy. ;)

I think that's what Rover did when they came out with the SD1, no?

Yes, Aaron.....a blatant copy.

However, no SD1 lubricated 'girly bits' as well as the Daytona. :) :y

and also dont let us buy from outside, or from foreigners or even parts (a long list of rules) :(  I learned to buy parts from abroad but had problems with customs.. :( :(

Is Turkey not in the EU <spit> then?
Thought .govs weren't allowed to restrict cross-border trade?
Or does that only apply to importing into Britain?
