and also dont let us buy from outside, or from foreigners or even parts (a long list of rules) :(  I learned to buy parts from abroad but had problems with customs.. :( :(

Is Turkey not in the EU <spit> then?
Thought .govs weren't allowed to restrict cross-border trade?
Or does that only apply to importing into Britain?

No it's not. It has tried many times but so far has not succeeded. Probably as it is mostly the other side of the Bosphorus which is generally seen as the dividing line between Europe and the Middle East.

.......or could I be confusing the humble Austin with the Ferrari Daytona?..... :D ;)

I think that's what Rover did when they came out with the SD1, no?

Yes, Aaron.....a blatant copy.

However, no SD1 lubricated 'girly bits' as well as the Daytona. :) :y

::) ;D we must discuss this subject in detail Opti ;D :y

If it was me, and if the laws in Turkey were the same (I'm guessing not  ::) ), I'd start a one-man company which imports cars and parts - and take one as a company car.

you need to take permissions from ministry of industry..  which means either political relations(to govt) or you have to have big money.. in both case I'm failed ;D

I'm afraid I said goodbye to the days when my car would stall at every junction when I sold my Morris Ital, and I'm not going back!
I thought I had...  ...but then I bought a 3.2 Elite that does that with annoying regularity....
Eh? Only time I've known a 3.2 'stall' is when the crank sensor waves goodbye to this world. Any idea what the issue is?
A grumpy LPG that I can guarantee will stall every morning whilst I slow down for the junction just outside the (ex) Bronnley Soap factory, about 0.75 miles from here.
oh just ignore him. If he fixed all the issues with TSE he wouldn't be able to moan about it, would he, and no the exploding garage doesn't cut it this has been an issue since install. Lazy bloody admin ;)

...he has Tilos number same as I do, and I manage to get bits of him easy enough.  ::)

Not too bad now the weather is cooling. Its usually about three quarters of a mile after switchover it gets arsey, just on hot mornings, thats when I'm at a T junction  ::)

Ring it, see for yourself. 1 out of 3 calls he's in. Roughly.

Sounds similar to mine when it was running rich, except it fell over at wot and tick over.
Later in the journey it was ok, is. But always struggled just before fully warm.

Iirc your nozzles are too big?

I'll text you the number, again! ;D

Actually, I've got spare injectors in the garage, as I fitted some Prins copies.

I want to keep the injector blocks for now, but your welcome to the nozzles... I think they are suitable..?

I don't give it WOT until fully warmed for a couple of miles, but the tickover sounds similar.  Did you ever resolve yours (before swapping injectors)

Undecided on exact cause. It might have been running rich, it may have been the moto gas injectors, (so no)

But its fine with the new injectors and a retune by MrWood, where it was found to be rich. Very rich. Causing missfires and fuel trim. Fueling backed off, all ok. Maybe needs another tweak, as it pulls away more if you lift OFF the gas at certain rpm in the midrange.

I'm considering a dyno session to get it nailed down, its difficult to tell exactly what the tune is like from the software.

But I don't think there was much difference in performance given the drive home from Sereks. Tbh.

Some of those roundabouts I nailed it as hard as I could, and seeing as I was in front, would have expected to have pulled away slightly, but if anything, I reckon you gained.

Note, I wasn't loosing traction, so not that

//Edit: Of course, with non SC5 tyres, and wider ones at that, maybe you were able to get on it before me  :-\

Just innocently looked at this thread thinking it was about start/stop technology having just spent time in a Passat in Hamburg with this feature and found 5 pages of something else - silly me - should have known better
