If you buy an Aux Belt kit from SKF you get the complete tensioner assembly, water pump and aux belt.

Genuine Bosch

Same sensor from a factor could be had from a factor for £50 odd last I looked. So ring around quote your cheapest price each time, then go back to the first guy and see if he'll match.

All parts in slough are good that way, if you have one near you?

Crank sensor - genuine on TC.

What is a genuine crank sensor?  I bought a Siemens one from an ebay supplier last year for about £40 and it's started to play up already!  >:(

Mind you it started just after I'd changed the dispack so the wire had been disturbed, which I was told can kill them.  ::)

Anyway I thought that the genuine crank sensors were either Bosch or Siemens?  :-\

bloody ebay sellers,   ordered (and paid for ) the cam belt kit now 3 times,  from 3 different "sellers" only to have it refunded and a message saying they don't have the part in stock for my car?

these three different companies turn out to be the same place..... (confirmed by message)

but of course, while paypal TAKE your money instantly,   they don;t refund it as quickly....    thru the card system,  so i'm out by about £270 till the refunds go thru...

idiots..

orderpartsby don;t specify the make of the cambelt kit they supply, although they do at least list 2 kits, one before engine number xxxxxx  and another after it....   (mine is the one before )

anyone know if it will be a decent one,??

Maybe. You'll never see the core members here recommend buying sensors off ebay.

Was it fitted the oof way, tied up away from the exhaust?
