I've got Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's which I purchased for a Winter drive to Austria, must say I was extremely impressed with them.

This is their tyre:

I drove through slush at motorway speeds, tracked pulled really well. Also thick snow in a hotel car park, normally would have been all over the shot, but just pulled and pulled. Also attempted an emergency stop, very impressive.

Do we get enough snow to purchase them on their own? Not really, I got them for Europe. But now I've got them, think they will be damn handy.

MPG took a hit though (as to be expected), around 10%  :(

I am precluded from ever buying another Dunlop tyre, (although I don't know all their subsidiary brands) in 1958 a brand new C41 on the front of my Mk1 Consul split down the tread centre after 4 miles, and Dunlop denied liability and refused to replace it. An elephant never forgets. >:( >:( >:(

1958!!! A lots changed in the tyre world since then both in compounds, construction and company attitudes!! We're on radial ply tyres now ::) ::)  Seems a bit OTT to preclude a decent tyre manufacturer because of something that happened some 55 years ago :o

Long time to hold a grudge  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

You should have met my mother! ;D ;D ;D

Its the only way I can show my disgust at their attitude, and seriously, how else do you show that you are not going to put up with bad service? If they care to apologise I might reconsider, but I doubt that will happen any time soon. Fortunately, as Tunnie says, there are plenty of other good tyres around. :y

its a bit early for shops to bring.. they start normally next month here.. :-\

please check for goodyear UG 8  series with a fresh date (they are #1)..  also if they also dont exist  goodyear vector 4 season will do the job in %80 of occasions..  (if you are not living on a hill)

Which I am!

avoid blizzaks.. they harden very quickly!

if ug8 not existent in your size check goodyear extreme.. (they are also studdable)

Evidence please.

I have used them .. 2nd season start to harden..  normally I use winter tyres 5 winter seasons..

I have used pirelli snoways (better than avg ), micheline alpines (may be ok for uk snow ;D but not for here), bridgestone blizzaks (didnt lke them), semperits (avg) best on price peformance without doubt goodyear .. there are others but not necessary at the moment..

Far be it from me to accuse you of a terminological inexactitude Cem, but if this quote is correct then you must have been using the LM32's at least 2 years before they were introduced. Congratulations!

Bridgestone Americas used its 2013 Drive and Learn product introduction – held at the end of March in Las Vegas – to roll out four new tires to dealers and media, as well as recap both Bridgestone and Firestone brand strategies, accomplishments and promotions.

Introduced – and put to the test on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway – were the Bridgestone brand Dueler H/P Sport AS and Potenza RE97AS, while two more tires – the new Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A and Blizzak LM-32 – were unveiled but not tested.

it may be a new design but name "lm 32" appeared on the market at least 4-5 years ago.. :-\ anyway , it doesnt change my verdict about blizzaks..
I will never buy them again neither for me nor for my friends..
