Rang Norwich Union for a quote, got extra discount as we have our house insurance with them, and they quoted me cheaper for fully comp with 9 years ncb than TPFT. Windscreen etc for £330 on a 2.5 although engine size only makes a couple of quid difference (like about £20 between a 2.5 tourer and a 3.0 MV6)

quite expensive for me :(

£862 fully comp with endsleigh, 98R 2.5i V6 GLS

uni student in liverpool, 2 years NCB, 6 points (MS90 & SP50), no accidents, originally passed test in 2000, but due to a fluff-up at the DVLA, re-took the test Sept 2004 (LONG LONG story & cba with going into it)...

everywhere else wanted more than double that just for TPFT...

Just been getting some quotes £632.63 fully comp, protected NCB, just got to check they have covered the mods, just went on confused.com, only one company would quote and that was over £1k ;D ;D, got another quote at £570, fully comp, protected etc.. I will wait to see if I can improve on these, I will be happy if I can get it at any of those lower prices as it is cheaper than last yr :y

Then when i moved they gave me a refund as it was cheaper where i moved too ( i thought they just murmured no change and pocketed the difference)

Beem there B4 admiral over 1k nov 2003 >:(, its more to do with getting the mods insured.

My insurance dropped from £1650 to £830 for 1 years no claims  :o

They're supposed to take the other half of my premium today by direct debit, but the money's still in my account...I'd have thought they'd have been biting my hand off for it  :-?

It will be out of your account first thing in the morning.

Have to say, heck of a drop...and damn am I glad I am an old git... £830??

Just paid £206 fully comp with business use for myself and wife through RAC. Thats on a 1999 2.5 Omega Estate . About £60 less than i paid last year with Norwich Union Direct.

I just tried the RAC ;D ;D £884, with tracker fitted (which is'nt fitted), over 5 yrs no claims, went back in removed the fitted tracker option quote....wait for it £993.00, and does'nt coevr the mods ;D ;D ;D

i'm paying about £330 fully comp with Esure, although it is due for renewal in Jan so it will be interesting to see what they come back with as comparasons..

Just checked my documents and sure enough the above is correct.
I got the quote via confused . com and took the policy out on the 20th October. 9 years NCB , No convictions, Police advanced driver and parking on the drive. I also have 1000 miles per year business use for myself and wife as i sometimes need to use the car for travelling around at work.

Sometimes being a Sagalout does have it's advantages ( NOT OFTEN )  ;D
