I don't do puke, so I have to remove every single trace of it. If I wanted my cab to smell of kebab, piss and vomit, I would buy the shittiest Passat I could get away with.

Carpet and seats, initial clean, done using a Tesco Garage vacuum and Ambersil Groom, done in near darkness at 1am.


Door card, as above.


In daylight, door card required a bit of detail work to the handles and window switch. Carpet and seat seams got another going over with just the Ambersil and a cloth.


The back rest I binned last night, as there was no way that would ever clean satisfactorily... too many nooks for stuff to ooze to

Just to add, if you have a furry dog problem, then the hook side of velcro makes for a very effective 'brush'

Precisely why I have a metal dog guard just a shame I can't use it for passengers I sometimes wonder if a Police custody van would be licensable... fit a water tank/pump, and hose it out as required

Just dont work the pub kickout times  In fact its rare for me to work after 6ish any evening 

And you need stickers in the rear windows....stating "No food or drink allowed" and refuse to take anyone with a bottle/cup of coffee(unless its got a lid on it) or smelly kebabs 

And I'll have you know my passat is usually spotless inside and pleasantly smelly inside, bit harder to keep clean on the outside this time of year.
But then i take it to a hand car wash, once sometimes twice a week and for a tenner they do a cracking job on it inside and out in about 20mins plus dangly air freshner included

The Passat thing wasn't meant as a dig the mk1 superb is saloon only but does have larger buckets rear foot wells...I wouldn't buy one in the first place, so I would need to be very bitter/twisted to go to that extreme, having knocked it on the head long before reaching that point... I hope

I generally avoid most hassles, food/drink strictly enforced... Most people accepting of the fact that it is the difference between a cab or walk home. Those too retarded to grasp that concept generally get abusive which pretty much ensures a walk home anyone who looks likely to be sick doesn't get in the car. End of. But occasionally I get caught out, but still less than 20 times in 300 weekends work... Working nights on a circuit made it harder to avoid the trouble as you have a lot less control over the bookings.

Since April, I have been solely working off the ranks, the week days paying for pocket money, the weekend lates paying the bills

Cleaned properly, a car doesn't need a magic tree, which is a good thing because they give me a migraine

People have actually commented that it's refreshing to get in a car that doesn't have one...

I didnt take it as a dig    but mines not a mk1......dunno what it is tbh....07 plate with leds in the rear light clusters.....and i dont really understand why VW have gone back to filaments in the latest model....unless  its a bean counter decision 

Its just coming up to 200k now, waterpump/diesel low presssure pump/usual service items/couple of tyres and thats been it.....for 40k  miles since ive had it 

Before smoking was banned in public places......i was sent a job.....it said on the screen "non smoker/no air freshener"
I called in and said i have a problem with this job, coz im sitting here having a ciggie and i got an air freshener" The old boy doing the base replied back "Chuck the fag out the window, shove the air freshener in the glovebox and drop the windows down on the way to the job, he'll be waiting all day if ive gotta find a driver that doesnt smoke and doesnt have an air freshener in the car"
