Thanks for the advice and toledodude for highlighting that there is stock in the uk, if you know where to look.

Went back in the dealership to order some daewoo parts (dont ask) and nagged the parts dept again over the supply issue over omega parts. The manager came over to listen and found a button which displays parts in other parts of the country. Posted over from a branch in Teeside.

Fitted back together today. Watching the temp gauge as you do after a minor engine threatening scare, the gm thermostat does seem to widen the temperature fluctuation on the dash, might be me?

Idles smoother now as is in the process of refitting found a split air hose to the breather system.

According to the computer they had two in stock. Will have a look at the paperwork and confirm the branch.

Alls good now Tilda thanks, the drain pipe came in today all the way from Germany but strangely made in the UK, the thermostat came in next day after ordering  made in Germany  ???
