I actually paid one of these today... Got caught at Heathrow Mcdongals a couple of weeks ago...

First time since the law changed in 2012. Apparently I overstayed by 45 minutes ::)

Prior to the law change I had recieved and ignored seven of these charge notices, so I felt that it was only fair to pay this charge, as it averaged out at reasonable value for money... :-\
2hrs 45mins in a dodalds! Talk about punishment.

Three course breakfast was nice though 8)
there's some nice tea bars around Heathrow that serve better, fresh cooked food than dodalds.

Not at 4:30am or after 8pm there aren't, besides their coffee is better than some and unlike Burgerking/kfc/costa etc their prices are consistent regardless of location :y

That particular one is perfectly located for all five terminals too, has clean toilets, cheapish fuel and a pay as you go jetwash, all open 24hours :y

Maccydoo's coffee is good and cheap, but has to be left for about an hour until cool enough to drink!  :o  ::)  :y
