The gears are fine. It's the Edwardian but in between.


I really can NOT be arsed with a manual for road use. Auto aaaaall day long.

Did the Edwardians have rubber? I'm sure those rubber lever bushes are meant to improve things ;)

My auto is slicker. I don't even have to move. :P

It's one thing being "involved" but quite another kneeing myself in the chin 5 times to get above 70 :P  ( ;D )

autos were that good the FIA banned them from F1,GROUP C, RALLYING, etc. Auto is sooo much better, even Volvo,Daf, Scarnia think so too. :y

To clarify again, there is *NO* GM software to allow the 5 speed auto to be fitted to anything other than a 2.5DTi

I never much doubt, seeing as the Omega stopped production over 10yrs ago, and it was never a marketed configuration, that GM will ever develop and release software for it.

If you look back on here for the pictures posted of his 3.2 you'll see the gearbox selector clearly states 4/3/2 whereas ours all have 3/2/1
 


This was just the frame / indicator taken from an 2.5DTI which was placed in the 3.2 as a joke, it doesn't actually have a 5spd auto.
