I don't like any overpaid nancy boy footballer. How can someone with an I.Q in single figures possibly be worth £1.2 million a month?

Teachers...doctors .....nurses......engineers. These are the people we should value. Not brainless 'celebs'....

How ? Because the public coughs up for pay TV, coughs up at the turnstile, buys the merchandise etc etc.

I completely agree, player salaries are absurd, but where does the money come from ? As long as there is demand, the salaries will remain.

Put him up against world class players and he is out of his depth.

Still, £300,000 a week isn't   bad for putting a goal or two past Hull and Swansea.
