The twin turbo ones are rapid, if thirsty.

Engine problems?

When should the cambelt be changed?.....or do they come with a camchain?

They're chain driven... Vectra Vxr was fast but unpredictable... Insignia Vxr is pretty brutal, but has four wheel drive so simply grips and goes... 8)

They are stupidly thirsty though... Took one out for a test drive in Sluff only fifteen minutes but had to stop for fuel ;D salesman was not impressed...

In 'unloved Signum form' a 2007/8 example can be picked up for less than £3000.

Just a thought. :y

I've driven a few Vectra C's with the engine. Not a bad drive, but if you're going to pay £275 for 6 months / £500 12 months tax and get through soooo much fuel, there are other vehicles I'd choose to do that in!

My sister will soon be selling her 1300. If you could handle the power of the 'big-block' version!
