Not for 24 hours and I would get stuck - hence my cycling and walking trying to get thinner :-[

As someone who suffers low back problems (problably due to being up telegraph poles all day every day for years, and not helped now by being a fatty), I often find soothing comfort in laying on the floor on my back.

Getting back up when my back is giving me jip, well, that can be 'interesting' ;D

Oh my goodness Martin!....I hope you`re going to feel better soon. ;)

I find those self-heating oxidising chemical (self-adhesive) heat-patches are very good at helping resolve back pains/spasms......the 4" or 5" square hot-pads are very good and relief lasts for 12 hours (or so)....watch out if you have a hairy back though! :y

*Available at most pharmacies/Boots etc.

Can sympathise with lower back pain, I seem to suffer with it often now, I blame it on lugging too many big Sun Microsystems / Silicon Graphics CAD screens around about 13 years ago.  ::)

Hope the pain doesn't stay with you too long....

Sorry to hear about the accident Martin  :(

Pop (or crawl) to the docs and get him to prescribe Co-Codamal 30MG + 500MG ......its about the strongest painkiller he will prescribe and probably wont like to do so.

Plus you may not be able to drive........they may make you feel 'pi$$ed'

But they will take any pain away  :y

You can always rely on Pete to give helpful, considerate advice!!!

Bad luck Martin, i can empathise i banged my coccyx whilst gorge walking a few years ago, not felt pain like it! Was advised then to keep mobile so as not to stiffen up!

I use beer myself. No prescription required (yet! won't be long). Side effects are similar. [smiley=beer.gif]
