Idle air control valve,if that's the bit I'm thinking of[with a rubber hose going to the front of it an electrical connector to the back and pushed into side of plenum]then although I can't recall how much I paid for one-but they're not hugely expensive-they're only a couple of minutes to fit,so 490 euros sounds a heck of a lot too much!
That,s what thought so I started to investigate and found out how cheap it was I ordered from internet and replaced by my self...
You bet, I've found quite a number of shops with good prices and great services in uk.
To name a few:
genuinepartsearch.co.uk
vauxhallworldparts.com
lmfvauxhall.co.uk
sparepartstore24.co.uk
And there is always ebay.co.uk, amazon.co.uk...
I'm glad to say that I'm one of the last owners of an Opel Omega MV6 3.0 in Portugal, less than 5 running on petrol.
You can still see a few running on diesel from time to time. I've only saw one like mine in all these years!
But maintenance is terrible expensive, what can I do, I really love this car great great vehicle!
