Ive always rated Missions myself.
Some of the Classics, - Mission, Kef. B&W, Q Acoustics, Quad, Wharfedale, Monitor Audio, Tannoy, to name a few.
For HiFi, stay away from Bose and anything made in the Far East.
Yes i was looking at Mission
I will cross off Bose then as i was just looking at those .
I have a pair of Mission 733i floor standers and think they`re great, really good neutral sound to them, perfect partner to my Cyrus Straightline amp
I've got a gorgeous pair of Mission 734's sat at the back of the living room which need 1 (or knowing I should change in pairs, 2) main drivers

Gav if you feel the need for a change, give us first dabs on them please mate

I'd love to get them running with my Cyrus 2 again

I've been running a pair of Mission M74's for a few years now.
There nice but never a patch on the 734's

I've been running Mission speakers since 1984 when I bought a pair of 1st gen Mission 70's.
As Gav says, match them with the right amp and source and you will be pushed to get a more clean and detailed sound at any price imo

My music setup is currently a Mission pcm 700 CD player / Pioneer mini disc player for source.
Cyrus 2 amp and M74 speakers.
AV is Yamaha DSP amp
Mission 760's for front left and right.
Mission 75 C centre speaker and my first purchased 70's at the rear.
As you can probably see, I love Mission / Cyrus stuff
