You ought to as it make you feel better if you down like i am ::)

Er, that is NOT a valid reason to drink.
I recommend you take your GPs advice, instead.

I thought i would have a drink as i was feeling a bit fed up which we all get from time to time and you like a drink every night when you are in the bath just to relax so it wont hurt if i have the odd one

I don't disagree - if you fancy a drink by all means have one :y

What I am saying is, your post advised alcohol as helping with being "down". Alcohol is a depressent, it will only be a very short term lift, followed be even worse depression  :'(

No sin at all and it's no problem.

I am just concerned about Maria's comment that she is drinking because she feels down. That isn't good  :'(

It's not a dig at Maria, it's just a concern.

In terms of arguments, that's your perception of the thread - I don't see any arguments here :y

I don't. Maria openly posted her comment on the public board - therefore it's open to discussion using the same meduim :y

It's your relationship.

If you read my posts I wasn't discussing any aspect of our relationship. I was discussing alcohol being a depressant :y
