Ah,Christmas time when everyone has to be happy[it's the law]and according to the various charities we should all be feeling sorry for/shelling out to help,the homeless who are cold and afraid on the street corners/shop doorways,the children who are wondering if Santa will bring them a present this year as their[single parent]family are on the breadline and have never been able to afford such things.Then we have to pick on the local old person who's super lonely[they must be a they live alone] and go round to visit them/invite them to dinner.Once the day is over of course we can all go back to totally ignoring all the above until it repeats again next year.
