Talking of Starmer, why is the BBC, or anyone, so fascinated by what he's got to say at conference? It's 2 years 8 months till the next general election, and there's a fair chance he won't even be leader by then.

You already know the answer to that.

Pretty gushing review for the great man. :)

Might be sooner as they're going to repeal the Fixed Term Parliament Act.  If Boris spots an opportunity?  ???  ;)

Bojo is an inept comical buffoon. He really shouldn't be allowed out without adult supervision.

However, given the choice I would choose him over Starmer.

Starmer is so dull I bet he drives something like an Astra derv, ::) ::) and only f*ucks in the missionary position. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong.... but I don't think I heard anything from anyone in the Labour Party at their conference this week calling for the haulage industry to improve pay and conditions for drivers?  ???   Nor anyone from the Trade Unions come to that!  ::)

Sir Starmer did say he'd issue 100,000 visas for foreign drivers which I'm sure the haulage bosses and the RHA were happy to hear, but the only people this week urging industry to pay workers better have been Boris, Grant Shapps and Kwasi Kwateng of the Conservative Party:o  ::)

That's no surprise. The only thing unions worry about is their subscriptions. The last thing they actually care about is protecting those members.

Basically they rely on fear and outrage to justify their existence much like paying protection money to the Mob so they don't send their mates round to break everything... Employees and employers would be much better served without them :-X

One morning sat in a Sainsburys transport office waiting for a load with about 20 other blokes, a couple of union reps came in and were dishing out ballot papers to their members for some election or other.  Several blokes told the reps that they didn't know anyone on the ballot paper, so didn't know who to vote for, to which they were told to "vote for 'Joe Bloggs' as he's a good bloke!"  ::)

I called out "There's democracy at work Brothers!" which caused quite a laugh!  ;D  Not from the union fellas though who looked pretty pissed off at me!  :D

I was quite careful around that depot not to be on my own for a while!  :-X  ;D

I belonged to COHSE when I was in the Ambulance Service I found them to be useless when required, however a completely different story in the Prison Service the POA were excellent & did their utmost for their members.

The Labour party was founded in 1900, and for many years had a purpose.

Poor people in 1900, when women and working class men were not allowed the vote, were very badly treated by those who held the reins. You hear stories of men being killed in a pit disaster and then then their wife and children being thrown on the street because they were unable to pay the rent.

This type of scenario was why the Labour party was formed. The unions were also very necessary during this period.

I have voted Labour a couple of times but I do not recognise the Labour party of 2021.

The white working class are now seen as an uneducated embarrassment by the like of Starmer and Thornberry. Crude homophobic individuals who can barely write their name and should never be invited to the north London dinner parties so beloved by Starmer and his ilk. Not to worry though, Emma Thompson and other luvvies are always available to advise any future Labour government on policy.

The Labour party of 2021 is only interested in minorities......the bulk of any future vote will come from the gay, lesbian, black ( The Labour party loves BLM) and trans community.  They have fallen over themselves to show how woke and 'progressive' they are. They will also garner some support from crusty left wing academics. However, I really can't see this being enough.

I'm not a fan of bumbling Boris either but........ :-\.

You can read fairness and inclusion in the same sentence with sports such as darts or snooker.

If you are talking about football, rugby, athletics, or any sport that requires 'male strength' delete the word 'fairness' because it certainly isn't fair for 'real women'.....the type I am sexually attracted to. :)

FFS.... women and the word 'woman' are slowly being deleted in the insane quest for 'inclusion'

Birthing people.......f*uck right off.
People or men with a cervix.....f*uck right off.
People who have periods.....f*uck right off.

This is satire but closer to reality than the woke 'progressives' would care to admit. :D
