Early petrol V6 have 2 wire brake switch if non-cruise, or 4 wire if fitted with cruise

Yes thats what I thought, I checked wiring dia and it just feeds ABS from same wire as feed to brake lights. I checked for continuity and that was fine. More head scratching then.

Okay ,found pedal a bit hit and mis turning switch off. Stuck a bit of rubber to the pedal and see how that goes, now it says ECU fault. Only comes on after driving a good few hundred yards, speedo is out showing 25 at 30. Makes me wonder if tyre size is out? But the 235/45/17 is the same radius on tyre chart. Does the speedo work of rear tyres/abs sensor?

Are all the drive shaft inner joints the same number of teeth on reluctor ring? just a thought as used 2L shafts , it would explain why speedo is out?

Speedo is probably out due to tyre size.

according to tyre size chart its the same diameter as the original , I put tape mark on front and rear tyres and rolled it forward and they are both the same.
