just been pulled by the plod

i pulled up at some traffic lights as a car pulled up behind me and the sun was glaring off his bonnet onto my rear view mirror and right in my eyes
i noticed it was a unmarked cop car and fort nothing of it and pushed the button to lift the electric rear blind up

i pulled off the traffic lights with the sound of sirens and when i looked it was the unmarked cop car behind

he said it was strange how i lifted the blind as i noticed there was a unmarked police car behind
he thought i had somthing to hide

after he did the normal checks on the car insurance etc etc
he said on your way and be careful next time you raise that blind when there is police behind you

Sounds like the peeps were doing what their instincts advised them to do.....

As long as everyone was polite and pleasant to each other, dont see the problem, to be honest...  :-/

funny that how when you say to your passenger dont look there is a copper behind
the first thing they do is turn around and look
and normaly say's "yeah your right"

"oh look he has got his lights flashing now you better pull over"

It has often crossed my mind to paint an "upturned finger" on the blind ---- for use on special occasions ..... definitely have to remember not to raise it with a police car behind then !!!!!!

Maybe not such a good idea  ::)

he doesnt want them to see how the suns reflection from their car dazzles his vision making it dangerous to drive, therefore the blind is used as a safety measure :y
