They were sueing each other then suddenly dropped it a couple of weeks ago, I didn't follow it very closely... can you tell?

I am cancelling sky tomorrow,changed package on 10th oct, to come in to effect 1oth nov. when 10th nov. arrived they cancelled all paid channels. lots of phone calls etc;last one on tues. promised it would be back on by 6.p.m. it stil isnt back ,so break em.

You'll probably get it free for 3 months if you phone and cancel

pete is right , my pal works in the sky call centre and he is instructed to give upto 6 months free for a threatened cancellation . He is also told to give out movie and sports packages for six months half price if you cancel them . And if you tell them your box is broken and its out of warranty ( its your box not theirs ) if you say just cancel the subscription they will offer you a sky+ box for free .

I'd rather boil my head than give Branson any more money! The day I found out he was buying telewest/ntl I cancelled my subscription with them and ordered BT/Sky.

I get my broadband through Virgin as i don't have a landline. Why pay the rental when i've got more free mins per month on the mobile than i use? I did have one but a waste of money in my case paying BT rental & ntl call costs.
   3 freeview tellies in the house though so pleased to see sky1 back.

Is this any good, do you get any speed loss or is it as fast as they say?
