Hope I get my stuff from Stoke.

I had to ring a shop in Stoke today to buy some stuff. After we's been through all the order/credit card number stuff the conversation went something like:

"OK sir, I'll get that in the post for you"

"Thanks. Do you know Daz?"

"Daz?"

"Yeah, Daz"

"There's no Daz here"

"He lives in Stoke"

"Stoke?"

"Yeah"

"Sorry, I dont know anybody called Daz"

"But he lives in Stoke, and you live in Stoke"

"Stoke's quite a big place"

"A big place?"

"Well, quite big"

"As big as, say, Manchester?"

"No, not that big"

"I heard Robbie Williams say it was only a small place"

"Not really small"

"So Robbie Williams is a liar....."

Dial tone.


I hope I get my stuff.

How odd.  I rang the Stoke porn shop last week and when I asked for a discount as  I was an OOF member, the shop girl said "You must know Daz then!"

You must have been the subject to a wind up Steve, I bet that lass is still laughing at you now  ;D

All the cards in the phone boxs say dial 0800 loo-knee for dial a date, not sure what the pic of the cross dresser on the card was about tho. ;D ;D
