the old bill and all our councils are not accountable !
there are two laws one for us one for them !

pay your council tax or your knicked ! but they can waste f-cking thousands digging up roads and not do f-ck all for 3 months !
but its our money! and we all stand for it!

and the old bill!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-458310/Fury-90-000-police-officers-caught-speeding-let-off.html

and what the f-ck is a carbon footprint? more b-llocks >:(

See what i mean ?!?!

We are totally ripped off and its the police that breed hatred towards the police. Its the councils that bred racism by favouring immigrants. I could go on!

So knowing police officers break the law a bit in their own time , i would jst prefer the points, without the lecture. It aint the punishment really that would break me off , it would be the lecture on how to drive , when its plain to seein their ownm time they NEVER stick to 30/60/70 etc

I was arrested once on suspision of petrol theft (my numberplate had been cloned) and in the car the officeer waited until the camera had gone past and floored it to 70 ina 60 zone. I challeneged him and was told in an angry face "be quiet"

Double Standards!

They wouldn't be able to catch anyone doing 30/60/70 etc  ;D ;D ;D

I know of a shop that (where my mum lives) was refused a renewal on its licence to serve food (butty shop). Within 1 month a polish couple (very nice actually) came and took over the shop and turned it into a cafe. Licence no problem. We are being turned into the minority!

Just wandering if anyone else has had this happen to them. Iwas driving home about 9pm on a dual carriageway with hardly any other traffic about and good visibility/road conditions, doing about 80. Got to a roundabout and turned onto the single carriageway doing 60 when I noticed this pair of headlights come roaring up behind me, getting right up my ar*e. Now be honest, how many of you would think either A) Im just going to sit at the speed limit and you can just wait pal orB) think f*cking boy racers, and floor it! Unfortunatly I decided on the latter. I had the chipped Prelude at the time so the Vtec cut in and I pulled away and hit 90 before the undercover cop car behind me put his blue lights on. This has happened to 2 other people I know of who were also driving at the speed limit before the (unidentified ) unmarked traffic police car got up their backsides and they foolishly chose the same option as me. Seems a bit of a case for entrapment?.
Must say, however , that in the (thankfully) few cases where I have been caught by a traffic cop theyve been nothing but fair and I have been let off in the past despite "speeding" because the officers "could not say " that I had been "driving unsafely" and theyve used their discretion in matching my driving to the conditions.

I would have hoofed it myself.....sometimes the coppers have too much time on their hands ......and so start playing silly buggers. :y

I cant rip into police as one of my sisters, her fella and one of my nephews are all Police officers and I have close relations shall we say with both Police and C.S.O's for my job.  :-X

Anyway, little story. One night, a couple of years ago, Think it was about 11 o'clock. Im pulling out of a local Shell garage in my modified astra G, onto a dual carriageway. Just as I'm pulling out the garage a Police Volvo passes in the opposite direction. They take one look at me and accelerate hard to get to the roundabout approx 500yds in the opposite direction, just to come back ang give me a tug.

I reversed back a bit and sat there waiting for them to come back up the hill and after me. They must of been giving it some beans as when they clocked me still in the same place, the volvo took a nose dive, ass in the air and passed me in a plume of smoke.

I sat there laughing to myself  ;D ;D ;D s they reversed back to where I was sat and pulled up along side me. They asked what I was doing and didnt seem impressed when I said I was waiting for them. They then had the cheek to try and give ME a warning for wasting police time.  :oNeedless to say that didnt get very far.  :y

Another time I had called into a friends house on way to work ( in astra again) and put my glasses loosly on top of the centre console. Upon leaving my friends road and turning left my glasses slid across the dash and onto the floor in the passenger footwell. I pulled over and as there is no interior light in the astra was fumbling round to find my glasses. When found I looked in mirror and indicated to pull away. Only to see a police car with the blues on.

I pulled over again. This time the police officer wanted to know why I was "HIDING" from them as they drove past!!!!!  ;D

I explained what had happened but he wasnt happy with my "excuse" and kept me for nearly half hour checking my car over and all my documents.  :o

i'v been tempted to dress like plod in the omega

Why would you want to? I take every step to avoid being recognised / perceived as Plod in my own car.

It's not a good idea for a number of reasons - including the fact it becomes a real pain when people start driving at 20mph everywhere ::)
Nice casual jacket zipped up tight does the trick...  :y

Coppers , i wouldnt piss on one if he was on fire!!

But who will you call when your house gets broken into, or your car gets nicked?  :P ;D

They the coppers probably agree, but they have to abide by the law.

Agreed, in as much as the Police only enforce the law, rather than make it.

The old fashioned clip on the ear never did me any harm, and I only received one in extreme circumstances. Can't really comment for others though.
