Rest in peace Jade.
« on: 22 March 2009, 07:39:39 »

A terrible disease borne to it`s end with great fortitude; under the gaze of an ambivalent and (at times) cruel and judgemental "public".
Condolences to her family.

Such a brave girl who has done so much for the profile of such an indiscriminate killer.

She has put herself through hell to make sure her kids are well looked after and, although not my favourite person, has earnt a lot of respect from me.

RIP Jade.

Thinking of her family at such a sad time :'( :'( :'(

My thoughts go out to the two little lads. I just hope their Dad can grow up and give them the life that Jade has tried so hard to give them especially in her demise.

Never been a fan but as you say an unneccesary loss to her family from a killer that can be beaten if caught early enough. She has brought it more into public awareness and she must be congratulated for that. R.I.P.

please dont think im being heartless by saying this but dying is the kindest thing that could happen to her, at the moment im witnessing my best friend enduring immense pain every day due to asbestosis & its the worst thing ive ever had to face,he is now getting pumped with ketamine as well as a cocktail of other drugs & that is only giving temporary relief & his life quality is zero, i wasnt a fan of jade either but anybody who has got a good heart doesnt deserve to go that way,  RIP Jade.

Don't think you're heartless at all... Have witnessed the experience too many times of friends with terminal cancer.

At least she's finally at peace.

Can only agree with all of the sentiments expressed above. I wasn't a fan of hers either, but she has earned great respect. She was a bit of a goofball at times -- but at the end she pulled it all together for her family. Extremely courageous young woman.  R.I.P Jade
