And all from sectors which have been damaged almost beyond repair by Blair and Brown. ;)

Soon be time for the lillies and the sweet william over there zulu.  ;)

Yep, the first sign is always the 'dump wood here' notices you see springing up, and before you know it, there's a mountain of wood and tyres deposited at various locations throughout the place. ;)

Not far away you'll also hear the lambegs being worked up and various routines practiced.

Sounds peculiar to this time if the year and to this place :y

over half a million extra "people" since this lot came to power.  >:(
The only sector where unions are still strong and the "employer" is scared to take them on,hence the public sector pension bill which future taxpayers will never be able to pay. ::)

Many suffered a similar fate Albs ;D

The exciting thing was that you got to stay up late but I can still remember the anti-climax whenever the flames started to die down, as that signalled the time for bed ;D

This will be one of the biggest problems for any new administration to address and a problem which has the possibility of causing as much trouble for the treasury as the recent economic crises :y

Final salary pensions are virtually non existent in the private sector and the same thing will have to happen in the public sector, when we get a leader with the balls to do it. ;)

Always went to my grannies in sandy row on the 12th morning and then walked round the corner to watch the bands.

What short memories people have. Do we really want to go back to Tory rule where we sold the family silver (Rolls Royce, BT, British Gas etc) to pay our way, then destroyed the coal, steel, ship building and car industries, and when mortgage interest was 17.5%?
It is the media who are destroying this government, not Gordon Brown.
