a system which pretends to be socialist at least must satisfy some definitions..

of which still there is not a complete agreement on..

some who tries, either dont have enough economic power to satisfy even some basic needs so forced to live under strict rules outlined by economic realities..

and some, who really have at least close to enough ratio of that economic power has been tied by some very strong political-economic power groups for centuries  and unfortunately plays n th episode of endless theater :-/

....and so cem, the enigma once more cloaks the clarity and openness needed for the ideal to function ;)

need some dictionary look-up ;D

yep..imho the enigma has been solved "roughly" or at least its model part more than a decade ago which includes some complex relations that most of us hardly understands..

But still there are 2 problems..

serfdom which is been already in application for more than  many thousand years is very hard to break still especially with human behaviour nature..

And the real application details can be determined by long experimenting unless another genious determine for us..

.....thats, getting nearer the mark cem - human behaviour will always dictate that which is best for that particular individual :y

.......and it will take some time for us to arrive at that ideal point, where the needs of the many are dealt with in an open, democratic and caring fashion by those deemed worthy enough administer those traits :y

"human behaviour will always dictate that which is best for that particular individual "

Unfortunately , in my country where uneducated masses are the highest ratio, human behaviour is/was easily manipulated and results are completely desperate..

A descendant of King William IV
I went to the same prep school as Prince Edward then on to Eton and Oxford.
I spent 3months in Hong Kong in a job daddy(a wealthy stockboker married to the daughter of a Baronet) arranged for me.
I now wish to represent the people of Britain along with 18 of my chums from Eton - and it looks like I'll get my wish....
I have a worm-like appearance and no policies.

Who am I?     :-X ::) :-?

Can't think where to put this as there are some many political threads on the go, but here is as good a place as any:

“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonoured by your contempt for all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice;

ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government;

ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage…

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you?

Is there one vice you do not possess?

Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your god; which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes?…

Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; ye were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress’d, and are yourselves gone…

In the name of God, go!”
