The ironic thing is so did I!!   my daughter rang and I was on the phone for about an hour right the way through the second half of that programme.

Like you Bannjaxx I'll have to watch it on i-player.

With as you know Cem the revolution achieving its victory in January 1959, just over fifty years ago.   That is why I chose that picture!! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Look at it this way Zulu, for tonight it is either that Glorious Revolution, the British Embassy situation in Iran and the growing international tensions, or.........Michael Jackson.....terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired!!

So history, heavy politics, or mindless celebrity gossip!

Ah, good one Cem! 8-) 8-) 8-)  A good semi-historical account, with a political slant about the nasty English and the poor down trodden Irish who built the unsinkable ship of Empire! 8-) 8-) 8-)

A great discussion point, which I can see developing towards the oppression of the peasants by the arrogant white western empires, latterly the USA in the 1960's in over Cuba with Marxist ideology winning through to a great victory; well for a small island!!

See, there is an historic and political angle for everything, is there not Professor Zulu?
