Ever since my teens all I have heard is that oil is going to run out.......year in, year out, along with the claim that wars will be fought over drinking water!!

Yet, in the case of oil, we get new reports over the decades that a new oil field with "many billions of barrels" has been found!

What is a better way for the oil industry to maintain and justify high prices, especially at the garage fuel pumps, than claim "oil is running out"??   They are playing the supply and demand game to perfection to their advantage!

Am I just being cynical??  I don't think so as I have now "been here" in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and now 2000s!!  Why should I think any different?? :P :P :P
