Today's update:

Dabs - no change, I have chosen for my own stress levels never to speak to these idiots again.

HP - thanks single handedly to a single sales manager prepared to own the issue, and actually get things moving their end, HP have a reprive.  Obviously, tomorrow is another day, and time will tell if this server will be fixed tomorrow or Friday (I have an assurance that by Friday PM, either the server will be working or every single electronic item in the server will be replaced).

O2 - well, unsurprisingly, once again, these useless liars have not done as promised and called me to sort out their billing balls-up. Utterly useless bunch of pointless idiots  >:(.  When you're on the phone to these pillocks, you cannot help but ponder out of 10,000 sperm in an ejaculation, how the hell that particular one was the fastest  >:(

Well Aria are on my hitlist tonight.

just tried to order a motherboard (Finally got roundto it) and a hard drive.  They work out £10 cheaper (Even with carriage on) than ebuyer for the same 2 items, added a 1.5 TB Spin Point as well.

7 attempts for them to have my money.

break em, me thinks ebuyer can have the extra tenner if the ordar wont go through 1st thing in the morning. :(

Actually, the lyrics to my link are apt in this case - I just want to give them some money, and they're 'just supposed to rather help, not make it rather hard'  >:(

Gave up with aria years ago - I reckon they had some corrupt staff, or were just conmen.  Number of orders I received where a high value item (cpu/memory in those days) missing, and they would deny it.

Had a run in with them over a graphics card a few years ago.

Package was damaged, no card in there, made a claim, they as good as told me to break off, I ousued the claim and they calmly told me I should never have accepted it.

Well you know what city link are like, the hold the damage out of sight untill signed for.

Took 6 months, all they had to do was check my signature that had my name singned and printed withe the woed UNCHECKED next to it, as soon as they saw it they paid up,   tossers. >:(

Used them quite a lot untill they went bust a few years ago, treated them as dodgy since.

I was fortunate a few years ago.

Bench mark (6 miles)
Computer Trading (4 miles)
Choice (7 miles) (now ebuyer)
Extreme Computers (1 Mile)
Enfine Computers (5 Miles)

All big advertisers in computer mart a few years ago were all on my door step, and with the money I was spending with them got quite some interesting discounts, and knew most of the owners.

That was the good old days when there was a few quid to be eart in building computers.

Plus Scan, Aria, Novatexh, Mesh and many more. going back to the days of the 286 and daiy chained hard drines.  When a 1 mb 30 pin simm was £80  :o

Got one to add to the list today. Megaman, for subtly changing the design of their 7w GU10 low energy bulbs so they don't fit in my kitchen light fittings any more. >:(

...and not making them shock proof so that when you drop them on a tiled floor whilst dicking about trying to get them to fit, they break and can't be returned to B&Q. >:( >:(

That's disgusting,  really is, not making unbreakable bulbs.  I had a change a bulb earlier.  Had to nick one out of the hall, rather thing dint want to come out.  plus it's the 2nd bulb to have gone in 4 months, one of them was an engery saving phillips bulb, is that how they save engy , they just blow after 2 months.   :-/

PMSL

I reckon we ought to have a complain/wige.rant thread every day, might make the forum a happier place.  (Mike and Daz can pop in daily to slag each other off)  ;D ;D
