I wanna be part of that.
I am in love with the 37, better than any bloke.
Cwmbargoed DP is open again now, but no 37's going there, all silly 66's I think, for all I know, they are probably more powerful than the 37.Alll the one's to Cwmbargoed DP are liveried in EWS. UNstriking red and yellow stripes.

Hell yes!
Much more....3000+bhp....
As a power guide...
D2000-D2999 Shunters Under 300 hp
D3000-D4999 Shunters 300 to 799 hp (e.g. 08 shunter)
D8000-D8999 Type 1 800 to 1000 hp (e.g class 15)
D5000-D6499 Type 2 1001 to 1499 hp (e.g class 20 and 25)
D6500-D7999 Type 3 1500 to 1999 hp (e.g. class 37 and 31)
D1-D1999 Type 4 2000 to 2999 hp (e.g. class 47 or 43 otherwise known as a HST 125)
D9000-D9999 Type 5 Over 3000 hp (e.g.52 aka Western or 55 aka deltic...note that both of these requried 2 engines to get that level of bhp....)
Be a little careful with the above groupings as there are some exception e.g. a class 50 only has the power of a type 4.....
A class 37 is around 1750bhp......a 66 is 3300bhp....and more efficient at getting this to the rail.....but they sound naff as they have good silencers and weird compressors (directly engine driven)....zing, zing, zing....
So deltics and westerns being type 5's were super powerful (although lacked reliability at times!)
