Guess who's FINALLY got his LPG working!!!??
« on: 02 July 2010, 22:44:24 »

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]ME  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

After faffing about for more than TWO MONTHS trying to trace a supposed injector fault & waiting for support from the kit seller (which was 1st Class in respect of parts but poor timewise...he kept forgetting about me!!...)  I have solved the problem myself!! :D
The bloody piggy-back connector wiring for cylinder No.1 was incorrectly wired on the loom!!!!! >:(  Anyway, I have just done the initial Idle Calibration before dark set in & i'm now ready to do a road Calibration tomorrow. I am SO excited :D Like a kid in a sweetshop with his pockets full of pennies!!! ;D
Hopefully, everything will be plain sailing from here on ::) so it's time for some Heartfelt Thanks to you OOF LPG Entrepreneurs who have given unstintingly of your expertise ,time & encouragement :y
To Paul, (Lazydocker), Mark, (tunnie) (not so useless student! ;)) & last but certainly not least, Kevin Wood  . Without you Guys, I would never have entertained the thought of doing the conversion, your 'Howto's' were simply inspirational!, & the personal help & encouragement given from each of you very gratefully & humbly received  ;). So guys, THANK YOU!!! from the Heart of my Bottom!!! ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D :y

Well done that man  :y :y :y :y

Good work  :)

You can now join the growing band who drive a large, comfortable car with loads of performance at very cheap "pence per mile" rates  - you can also say "yah boo sucks" to those you accuse you of driving a "gas guzzling polluting vehicle" .. by pointing you you buy "gas" twice a year and your emissions are far cleaner than theirs .... :)

Glad you got it sorted Phil :y :y :y

Where was the fault in the loom? Were the tags in the wrong place? It is one of the things I thought about at the start though... Sure I even suggest checking the loom in the guide ::)

It's rare for it to be wrong... But proof that sometimes it is :(

No Paul, the tags were all correct. The problem was the wires in the piggyback connector plug for No.1 Petrol Injector were the wrong way round! :o I had checked all the wiring colours as per instructions/diagrammes etc, but it never dawned on me that the actual wiring would be wrongly assembled by the loom manufacturer! >:(   I guess I was just unlucky to have had a 'Monday or Friday' loom  ::). Anyway it's all calibrated & running like a dream now, so i'm WELL chuffed  ;D. As already said mate, MANY Thanks for all your help :y :y :y :y
