SORRY....should have said it roams on O2 on 900 mhz, but disagree with TB about Tesco mobile, gives probs on CCRT700 because it only ROAMS on O2, but day to day runs via another network, so when not roaming, CCRT700 "drops out" and therefore will not work on the other network, causing problems.

Tesco SIM only uses O2 network in UK.

Ordinary non 3G payg 02 sim card will be fine, don't push it out of its credit card, and bobs your uncle..........mine runs on vodafone payg, but your choice!!

Sorry you got that one wrong way around Tesco only works on 900 Mhz, taken from Ofcoms report:

Customers who value good quality, basic services may have to migrate to one of the
1800MHz operators.  Tesco Mobile, with its joint venture with O2, may have difficulty in
remaining a viable force in the UK market as the services its customers currently enjoy can
only be received on competitors’ networks.

Tunnie, I think Tesco works on whatever O2 use - 900GSM, 1800GSM and UTMS type services.

Tesco Mobile is a JV between Tesco and O2

Thought as part of the deal, Tesco got stuffed with 900 range, as to limit their competitiveness to O2

Oh, and 900Mhz is a better frequency than 1800Mhz ;) ;)

Mind you, I'd settle for Vodafone to get any bloody frequency up here, useless tinkers.
