It needs to be a full (credit card) sized card. I used a new card from O2 and threw the sim part out, slip ofe tape on the back and clip my normal sim into the hole :P

You managed to get a CCRT700 then?

to clarify, ccrt700 is 900Mhz only, which limits you to o2 & voda (but voda are on the shitlist now, as I'm sick of their BS).

Might I add that Tesco, Fresh, and Lebara will NOT work, even though they roam on 1800mhz via the O2 network.

AND the 3G cards give issues with the CCRT700 too, causing "freeze"

Sorry to hyjack the thread, used to fit car kits for a living......

Certainly, Tesco works on 900Mhz (via O2), thus should work in ccrt700

All SIMs are provided as CC size - for most phones you push the small bit out.

What what do they know about Vx head units? Just ask for a SIM, it will come fully size, just don't push it out.

If you did not replace the Bose speakers and wiring, it will blow the headunit, not kidding, literally blow ;)

Replacement headunit will be 4 Ohm, Bose is 2Ohm
