crown court tomorrow
« on: 15 September 2011, 17:21:24 »

well my day has finally come after being cancelled last week due to the high amount of rioters in court. will finally know if i go to prison tomorrow or not but after a lengthy conversation with my solicitor tomorrow i have been advised to plead guilty to a lesser charge whatever that maybe. it will more than definatly keep me from a prison sentence and still give me a conviction on my record as well. i was originally told to plead no indication and opt for a jury and trial on the grounds of a mental breakdown due to all the health problems i was going through. before i do this i want to know why all of a sudden they want me to go for a lesser charge and plead guilty. so if you dont hear from me by saturday you know where i am

Make sure you fully understand the implications of pleading guilty.  My neighbour did that for a bogus charge brought against him under the advice from council that he would avoid prison.  He went for 12 months and lost his job.  If you feel you can qualify for temporary insanity then I feel you should go for it.  If there is little to backup that claim then only you can make that decision.

I wish you the very best of luck, everything crossed for you here.  :y

ive got a top barrister apparently and this is the information they have about my illness

quote:
The close proximity of the brain to the sinuses makes the most dangerous complication of sinusitis, particularly involving the frontal and sphenoid sinuses, infection of the brain by the invasion of anaerobic bacteria through the bones or blood vessels. Abscesses,[19] meningitis, and other life-threatening conditions may result. In extreme cases the patient may experience mild personality changes, headache, altered consciousness, visual problems, seizures, coma, and possibly death.

so after 9 bouts of surgery everything is in my favour i hope. plus the fact that the last operation has not cured the problem it has only relieved the pressure and cleaned out more infection and i now have to wash them myself the rest of my life. fingers crossed

Best of luck Richie ;)

As said, get clarification of why he wants you to roll over on a lesser charge first because that may go against you when trying for work in the future ;)
