Cool, well we can't be there before 10am so how about 9am?

Meet in the petrol station, there's an area to the far left of the forecourt where I've met others on previous car events.

Thanks Kevin, if I can find someone to help me lift it into the Estate, I'll bring it along and hope. :y :y :y

I've just realised you're talking about a tractor.  :o

That was real? I thought nothing could be that bad, and that it must have been some kind of drug induced nightmare :o

On the upside, Guffer's place has a roof, so at least you won't be laying in puddles for several hours ;D

You're confusing me with LFF64. ;) I bagsied the relatively dry job of allowing your Gazebo to drip down the back of my neck while I peered into the engine bay, shaking my head in disbelief. ;D

Yeah, I'm up for that! :y

Might be worth putting this up as a new thread so that everyone sees it...

On reflection, I think I'll leave the box change to be done at home to allow for the inevitable hiccups, and where I can afford to have it AOG if necessary. Thanks for the offers anyway. I'm hoping that there may be a sucker helpful chap, local to me, at the meet, willing to give me a hand at home sometime. ::) ::) ::)

I didn't mean to put you off. Bring it along and we'll sort it out.  :y

In this case it just brought back memories of an amusing incident where we were doing it all wrong, in entirely the wrong weather. ::)

Plus, you really need it off the ground to make it easier ;)

Are you staying overnight? If you are there'll be plenty of time to get it done ;) :y

That is the problem, as I'm not, I would hate to put helpers in the position of using up beer & curry time trying to get me away. I do really think it makes more sense to do it here at my leisure, as it is not urgent, and as some of the jobs clearly will be. Thanks anyway guys, and I really look forward to meeting you all.  :y :y :y

Think the cooking facilities are sorted now, as long as the long extension lead turns up ::)

Speaking of cooking... I think it's best if we all supply our own. I'm happy to burn cook anything as required but, as there was no rush for a mass buying of food, I'll be bringing my own and let you lot sort yourselves out :y :y
