Given the replacement wing a good flatting and a couple of coats of primer filler., ready to base coat and clear coat the 'hidden' parts prior to fitting. Have to do it this way, and spray the main wing on the car, as I have no way of suspending it , to spray off car.
Mind you, got to get the old wing off first

I recently bought a fold up clothes rail for hanging panels/ parts for spraying. I do it outside as its a faff sheeting everything up to avoid overspray on my other cars in the garage. It a single rail with four angled legs. It's ideal for single panels and parts. Just choose your day, hang them up and spray. When you've done, its simple enough for two to move it into the garage to harden. It's easy to store in its folded state.

The one I bought was a Sykiariol folding clothes rail off Amazon.
Available in 121 cm wide for £27.99 or 141 cm wide for £33.99. Stainless poles, heavy duty. Very pleased with it for that purpose.

Started clearing my garage at home out so I can fit the teardrop trailer/caravan in, the Omega wheels are going to the scrap yard tomorrow as nobody wanted them. Did a skip run this morning, my right foot/ankle leg is now hurting (weak achilleas) after all the steps to the skips. Cortina front clip cut in 1/2 so I can lift it into my car to take to my workshop, lower wishbone bolts seized in bushes of course. Have another skip run now on Sat with a car full.

Had a very close call in the car tonight. I came around a corner on a B road and a bloody great cow was in my lane wandering about. Had to brake hard, just glad that the Audi has decent headlights so I was able to spot it as soon as.
I phoned the Old Bill to let them know and to hopefully prevent a serious accident, while myself and an oncoming driver warned other drivers of the impending danger. I’m used to watching out for Deer, foxes and rabbits along this stretch of road but never seen a bloody great cow on it at night before.

Had similar with a Moose in Canada before - on a gravel road at about 70 MPH. Made me clench a bit.
