good job there, they do look good.

and its good to see someone using a bit of initative and doing the job themselves rather than buying something form ebay that isn't really fit for purpose

i did something similar with a zafira, in order to split the lense from the body i shoved them in the oven, 200 degrees for 5 mins at a time, after a few goes the goo went soft and the split with no issues  :y

Thats an excellent idea, pre-heating the headlamp would really help the process! :y

I want to do something like that with my lights dont suppose you took photos of what you have done also were did you get the parts from.

Great lookin ride by the way.
 :y :y
Thanks, the headlights were quite simple to do, the front plastic is gently prized apart from the main headlamp carcus. Once apart you clean the chanels were the front plastic sits so the new sealant can accomadate a good seal.
Next you darken the parts you desire (not the main beam), soft sanding the parts and then applying a paint system, plastic primer etc. Although be warned, once you touch the mirror silver on the inners it will be permanantly marked, be carefull. And dont use masking tape as this will lift the mirror finish too!
Finally you can get a led strip from Maplins which you fit before you seal the headlamp again.
I'll try to take some pictures that are a bit more clearer, as there was a bit of reflection in the next week or so. Hopefully i'll take some pictures of the rear lights as they have been fitted with led clusters for tail, stop and indicator.

Hi there, I live just up the road from you in Bedford. I'd love to pop down and have a look at the LED rear lights to see how you've done it f you don't mind.

Can you drop me a PM with a number and perhaps I can arrange a suitable time with you??

Thanks
