OK got to tackle the cruise control here are the images

Can you see the 2 threads sticking out underneath the Expansion tank ?, there is a 3rd one hidden by the thin rubber pipe

Here is the plug strapped to the off side strut

Here is the unit bolted in as you can see there are only 1 lug on this side with two on the other. I will see how it goes might drill a hole and bolt up the spare but the installation is very solid


On the right is the cruise control cable with the oblong shaped clip. if you look very carefully at the accellerator cable housing you can see the bottom of the oblong slot where the cable goes. the final part is to unclip the throttle cable ball socket, slide the cruise control cable on fit a circlip and refit the ball socket
Turning to the inside remove the wheel and surround, remove the lefthand lever and swap for the curise control version

easy peasy well not quite, as a footnote.
I can't get the bleeding thing to work !!Connections double checked but no go ...
Studying the Haynes manual in the wiring diagrams for both the early and late models they both list a cruise control
relay K14 .Does any one know where this relay is located ?
