Try here

http://www.kwik-fit.com/about-air-conditioning.asp

They say if they can't improve the temp, there will be no charge

Had mine done there last year. They were true to their word but I had to get shirty to get my money back when it made bu66er all difference. Watch them like a hawk. They didn't bother to measure the vent temperatures on mine and then tried to charge me anyway.

Kevin

I had mine done 2 months ago by Kwik Fit and it is spot on, no probs  :y

Maybe an isolated mistake......  ::) ::) ::)

Maybe, but still do not trust them.  Prefere Tyeweb (Ashford Kent)

I'm almost tempted to say there's not much they could do wrong with an aircon recharge, as the machine is totally automated and just needs to be hooked up and left to do the job. However, they WOULD find a way to prove me wrong!

When Kwak Fut looked at the Estate - a/c not working - they said it didn't need regassing but that the fans were furbarred.  In fact the fans were working, the problem was a breaked compressor clutch.  Swapped that & then the mobile guy did the honours.  No probs since - ice cold.

Well, you've proved my point. You can't tell how much refrigerant is in the system until you've vac'ed it out so that should always be the first step. Had he left it to the idiot proof machine....
