Missfire after start-up

A recent problem has occured on my 2.2 auto with LPG conversion.
When starting from cold (petrol) it runs on only three pot's until the engine is warm then will run happily all day on four (petrol or LPG) The garage who did the LPG conversion kindly did a quick check which indicated that the 3 pot had a missfire, and they suggested that the dispack may be faulty. This I pomptly replaced along with the No 3 plug. Lo and behold  - no change!! - still a 3 pot 2.2 from cold.
The garage suggest that a compression check would be the next step, which would be OK. but has anyone had a similar snag and could suggest  any other ideas/remedies

Have you tried the HT lead???
Try a little oil down the 3 cylinder and see if it cures the missfire.

It's got a dispack.

Any warning lights on the display?

Have you had the number three plug out to see if it is soaked with oil?

Mines the same, runs as rough as a dog on petrol when starting until the lpg switches over at 2K then its as sweet as....
My lpg isnt SGI, its the cheaper option.
I suspect my EGR as it plays up every now and then...

Thank you all for the overnight reply's.

The standard orange engine management light is on, all the plugs look spot on, dry as a bone and a good colour.
I did the breathers some time ago, and the Rocker cover last year, when I had oil in the Plugs and changed the dispack then,the plug rubbers were shot but even then the car ran on four from cold.
If I allowed the LPG to come in automaticly the car would stop, it does need to be warm and running well on petrol before I change to LPG.

Next step is finding what fault code is stored.  Your engine management light is on so there is a definite fault.  You can either have it read at the dealers at great cost or there may be someone nearby on the forum who can read your codes for you with tech 2.  Other option is to get a hand held reader but I don't know which one works with your car.  I suspect your camsensor is flagging a code but could be anything to be honest so get the codes read.

Just to add it's unlikely to be plug dispack related because the car would run like a bag of spanners on lpg which is very reliant on the ignition system.

Hello All

Thanks for the interest and support for my missfire snag.
The sticky injector suggestion hit a cord, I used to use the car for a bit of Taxi work and following the LPG conversion I religiously ran a tank of petrol through each month because I had read somewhere that this would keep the "normal" systems happy. For the last two years I have not done that - yesterday I got some injector cleaner, put the whole lot in a 1/4 tank and took the car for a good blow out.
This morning from cold it was a bit better ,running smoothly after about a minute on petrol.
I was able to take it to Gas and Go, Swindon, who did the LPG conversion, they checked the codes and it still identified the No 3 Pot missfire - to be expected, this was cleared.
the mechanic though had a good listen (I'm fairly deaf these days) and he found that the small breather hose had a split in it , in fact on replacement, it was totally shot.
So I'll look forward to tomorrow morning and see haw things go then - finger crossed.
