Yep, its a plug that goes onto a small solenoid valve mounted on the front trumpets. The wiring loom should come from the cable tray on the cam cover, around the front of the trumpets first connecting to the MAF sensor (no air temp sensor on a 2.6) and then on to the multiram solenoid.....easy to miss

If it is 1111, check the rear multiram electrical connector is plugged in ;)

1111 is valve 2 which is the front one.
bugger, just checked, you're right.

Must stop trying to do codes from memory  :-[

Hi, you say you are near Dartford and Reading. I am in Folkestone and have an OBDII reader, if you are relatively local will happily read the codes on that for you.

2.6 and 3.2 can be flashed using a trick with the pedals.

BOTH use a 4 digit code to comply with EOBD/OBDII

sorry for confusing the issue last night :-[

is there a guide for flashing codes on 2.6/3.2? and a list of codes? ::)

See paperclip test in Maintenence Guides.

I haven't posted up and v6 4 digit DTCs.  Very often 1 code covers multiple problems, and a good code reader is needed to tell apart.

Well even if you say you spent 12 or 13 hours doing it, thats still a saving of £30 odd an hour :) Plus most likely quicker and easier next time! :)
