Hi all,
Right, i have now done a paper clip test and it comes up with the code 145(Immobiliser Wrong Signal).
I misread it at first and thought it was 45 but when i checked it again i realised i'de missed the 1

.
I then tried to start the car with the throttle wide open as someone had suggested(but this was when i thought it was code 45)and she just turned over without firing until i removed my foot off the throttle at which point she started.
I let it run for a couple of minutes at about 1000 revs. and when i released the throttle it just cut out and would not restart again, by this time the battery was nearly flat so took it off and recharged it.
I replaced the battery and once again did the clip test and found that it was 145 and not 45. Thought i'de give it a go and she started first time at which point a ran her upto temperature while i had her going and did an oil and filter change

.
She now started every time and when i left her i left the battery on but will it start tomorrow :-/.
What can be done about code 145 in case the problem persists?
Any help would be great as this is doing my head in :-?
Pete.
