was using 30-32 psi summer-winter but after Mark DTMs post I increased to 34..
What post CEM?

TIA

Some time ago he summarized his test for tire pressures and said 36 psi was optimum in his trials for consumption and handling..

Are any of these any good?

Have only listed the Buyit now ones.

I can't say, but I would not have thought so because it says accurate tpo +/- 1psi - which sounds quite inaccurate ;D

I've gote one of these - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_178469_langId_-1_categoryId_76861. Only 9.99 from halfods and accurate to 0.5psi. Plus does Bar/Psi and you can read it at night time too.

I've been trying to find optimum pressure for the rear tyres. Usually have 32psi in fronts (235x40x17) and used to have the same in the rears which are somewhat wider at 265x40x17. Trouble is I found the rear tyres were wearing in the middle which would suggest that pressure is too high so I've now dropped them down to 30psi. :-/

I wouldn't be surprised if you need a bit less pressure in those! You've got a larger contact patch with the same weight on it after all.

The 205/50/15s on my Westfield are best at about 18 PSI. A bit lighter than an Omega then... ::)

So would you think they need to go a tad lower than 30?

For nice sharp steering and normal tyre wear 36 front.Run the rears 30/32 as even 32 can give you wear in the middle if you drive one up most of the time

Not necessarily. Just keep an eye on how they're wearing. The biggest variables are what type of driving you do and with how much load in the back.

The wheels are Azev A's, 8.5Jx17H2 on the front and 10Jx17H2 on the rear.
