she takes forever to start when hot it gets to 70 mph and being an auto she kicks back a gear gains speed changes up and so on . i changed the in tank pump to start , no good bleed the whole thing changed the filters still no good so i think its the injector pump oh if i play with the peddle it will gain speed i got a injector pump cheap so il try that any ideas

This hot-starting problem is a 'pain in the proverbial' on 2.5TDs .....
Mine was exactly the same - after a new pump (1240 quid) and No4 Injector (300 quid).
In desperation, I fitted a brand-new correct-spec battery (65 quid) and 'right as rain' for the last year. Lads here then chipped it and now I've got a quick-starting flying-machine.
I'd certainly try the cold water test first, and change all of the leak-off pipes as a matter of course. Then, if the alternator output is okay, fit a new battery like me.
Much easier than changing the injection pump, and nothing to lose.
Gear-change problem, is, I reckon, a seperate issue here.
