Just an observation really, presumably when in France the car had luggage in it and possibly more people in than normal, could it be something in the boot area or rear passenger kicking something under the seats, like I said just an observation.

The fuse blew once in Dover docks when parked up.. Then again part way through France just after filling up with fuel (i did a lot of that in France!) after we arrived where we we staying (near Grenoble) I had to move the car and the car was empty of people and luggage by then. I had 4 in the car with quite a lot of luggage. But it was hot, around 30deg.. It blew 4 fuses then, one after the other..
It didn't do it again for the rest of the time we were in France even when we drove 600 miles home from Morzine during the day in 32 deg heat.
It seems totally random, apart from only doing it after the ignition is turned on, never when the car is moving. The engine will carry on running if I pull the fuse out, but I cant start the engine if its not in.
