I read that in one of the forums - so I tried it yesterday.

It must be broken inside or something, so looks like I'll have to replace fob.

Cheers for the advice

that'll cost you ..... both for the fob & then for it to reprogrammed via Tech II. Do as Entwood suggested & send it to Martin, he'll sort it for a very reasonable cost!  :y  :y

New remote fobs are about £30 from VX dealers but you need the car pass to get it Programmed to your car. if you have the car pass then one of the guys on here will tech-2 it for you (for a small fee).
My dealer wanted £30 for re-programming

I really need to do it ASAP as I only have the one key. Is the pass the laminated card with security info on?

If so, I've got that - much as I hate going to dealers, I might have to do that.

I didn't see a message from Entwood, suggesting Martin - sorry

Yes that's the one.  :y Should also contain your radio code (and CD changer if you have one).

Uploaded on behalf of Ollie...
Indeed it is a facelift on a 'T' plate, the two things I find interesting is the fact the Sat Nav isn't a NCDC 2013 or 2015, but a model I don't recognise. And like the prefacelifts it just says 'Elite' on the boot lid. Every other facelift I've seen has just 'Omega' or 'Omega 3.2 V6' etc etc.

Cheers for that Josh

The CD is a Siemens NCDR 2011 - no multichanger that I can find.

They must have thought it was a bad idea

Maybe they ran out of pre facelifts in August
